This 2018 cockerel had the typical dark brown chick down but has developed to be pretty melanized. He did have nice double tufts but they are nearly gone as he is in a pen with a whole ton of ladies and apparently they adore him. They don’t appear damaged so should grow back in nicely. This 2018 pullet had the typical dark brown base chick down but has developed to become almost completely black. She does have some shafting on her breast feathers and a little brown in her primaries. She has some nice full matching double tufts, a bit sparse at the moment from picking, but should grow back in beautiful after molt. Message if interested or for more information.
