Foundation stock for my black Araucana were originally obtained from a number of breeder with unrelated stock with the goal of beginning with as wide of a genetic pool as possible. That foundation stock has been line breed for conformity to the APA Araucana standard. While type is always held in highest regard, secondary focus has been made on continually improving combs in each generation. As with any other driven breeder, it is my goal to constantly make progress in producing that perfect black Araucana.
